Got the pad see ew here and it was really good! The noodles and chicken had a lot of flavor and they were cooked perfectly. I like adding the siracha-type sauce to my noodles also. The people that were here are awesome! Very nice and welcoming!
This is my go-to spot for Thai whenever I'm in the high valley area. The hostess/waitress that I usually have is always super friendly and I feel comfortable when she takes care of me. I'm not sure if her family owns the restaurant but she has been here every time I've come in which is quite often. The food is fantastic and I've loved every dish I've ordered. The Tom Ka soup rocks and is a hefty portion. It's so flavorful and hearty. My advice is to not order it to go as some of the food and noodle can get soggy from the condensation so if you can eat at the restaurant, definitely do so. I love this place and think you will too! Give it a shot today!
I have tried a lot of place in Merced, so far this place is my personal favorite. I tried every spring roll in town, this places serve the best and their dipping sauce is so so so good!
We stopped by here on our way back from Yosemite and we're honestly really satisfied!! Great and attentive service. Portions here are ginormous!! Definitely can split between two-- most of us togo'd our food. Pad see ew - a bit too dry for my taste. With the massive portion of noodles, it was a bit bland and I honestly think it just needed more sauce and frying time. Pad thai - the best dish I tasted here, super flavorful and again, plentiful portions!! Yellow Curry - HUGE portion yet a super flavorful curry, strong coconut taste This spot is a small and quaint but lovely dine-in spot for car full of hungry people!!
After being tired of eating at the same restaurant I chose New Thai Cuisine for my dinner adventure today. I was very skeptical when I arrived based on how empty the place was which is never a good sign. I was seated quickly and picked the Green Curry with Chicken as my entree. The dish arrived almost immediately after I placed the order which led me to the conclusion that everything was precooked? While the dish was loaded with a ton of vegetables and chicken, this dish was more on the lukewarm side and not hot. It was still flavorful and good but not great!! 3.5 stars for reasonably priced food and friendly service. Enjoy and Bon Appetit.
